Blog Entry: With all of the budget issues and cut backs in police forces and other city & County resources,  I do not understand what is going on in San Joaquin County. John & Jeanette Freitas who owned a home in Ripon,  removed fixture & appliances prior to the home going into foreclosure.  Now the County has decided to prosecute for theft. So is San Joaquin County going to prosecute John & Jeanette Freitas for stealing from themselves ? If John & Jeanette Freitas were the homeowners then they owned the items. http://www.kcra.com/money/24331465/detail.html
