I am outraged at the current education policy in grant funding! 41 US States will not receive any funding from the "Race to the Top" program. Good intentions aside, only 9 states benefitted from this program.   9/50 = Failure   If anyone is still wondering why education is lacking, policy leads the way to failure.   This is one of the worst methods of funding needy schools. I would like to send my condolences to the loved ones of the young man killed in Oakland. Convincing as that officer may have been in court of his innocence, one thing remains true, that Oscar grant is dead.
 
The young man was defenseless. He could have been anyone. Convict or a pregnant protester. Controversy about the use of taser guns is not just how they effect the victim, now the controversy is if it is safe for an officer to have multiple weapons in holsters.... Read More

The US Government and the Highly Paid Law Makers are at it again.
Yes President Obama tried to do a good thing with the Stimulus Program,  however there is money being wasted on stupid things Associate Professor Tammy Henderson of Oklahoma State University has received $1.1 million dollars to produce a study on Alaskan grandparents.  Please tell me how this will produce jobs.
