I must comment on this CNN story. As a website owner who is a victim of the Chinese Spammers who are trying to sell counterfeit products on my sites everyday. On a good day I have 50 fake Chinese members, on a bad day I have over 100 fake Chinese members all trying to sell counterfeit products. I spend considerable hours and money removing these fake members. To the US Government I say leave the Chinese to themselves. http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/... Read More
The House in a rushed vote passed CISPA the new Cybersecuity bill. The US Government states this will make the internet more secure. As a web owner I 100% disagree with their assessment based on actual experience. I had an issue with Amazon.com Cloud Servers click bombing my Google AdSence ads. I contacted Amazon.com in over 50 emails during a 2 week period, Amazon.com only blocked less than 10 ip's from accessing my websites. Even though I asked for ever... Read More

I wonder if the lawsuits against Kaiser Permanente will ever stop. This weeks lawsuit is from Yin Meng Liu Flato. Yin Meng Liu Flato went to Kaiser in 2006 with symptons of cancer and Kaiser or her Kaiser Doctors order no testing. Then in June 2010 a chest CT Scan revealed nodules in her lungs, still Kaiser or her Kaiser Doctors order no testing. Diagnostic testing was not performed until March 2011. Yin Meng Liu Flato is suing for Medical Negligence... Read More
Yes, Cruise Ships Are Safe! by Capt. John L. Beath Costa Cruise Line’s recent disaster has many wondering if cruise ships are safe. Blame for the terrible, and avoidable accident has been squarely blamed on Captain Francesco Schettino– a captain with the cruise line since 2006. This tragedy could have and should have been avoided by simply following company protocols. Schettino’s decision, for whatever reason, to deviate from pre-programmed routing put th... Read More
Today I was standing in Denny's restaurant waiting for my to go order and my cell phone rings. The calling number was 877-737-4709. I was watching the TV Show Cops & Coyotes on cable TV today. An interesting fact that was presented on the show is that the Quest Cable Company cable tv installer provided the Police in Arizona information on the CCTV that was installed in one of the homes that was to be raided. This makes me wonder if the police have a formal agreement with the cable & satellite TV companies & installers in the Sacramento Valley to act a police informers.... Read More
Imagine riding a horse through snow on a warm sunny day in August. This may sound like an impossible contradiction, but I did just that on a high country pack trip with Icicle Outfitters & Guides of Washington State. Icicle Outfitters offers everything from day rides near Leavenworth and at Lake Wenatchee State Park, to drop camps where they pack in gear for hikers or hunters, to full service pack trips. In the winter they even have sleigh rides. M... Read More
I would like to relate my interactions with the Kaiser HMO system in the last 12 months. First let me start by saying that I pay approx. $10.000.00 per year in health insurance premiums for me and my husband no kids with a deductible of over $3,000.00 each per year. First I must say that I had a hysterometry at the age of 26 so I am very susceptible to bladder infections, which in a matter of hours move to my kidneys and require a 3 to 5 day stay in the hospital... One small ship cruise line goes under. Most people would have seen their ships as fodder for the scrap yard. Dan Blanchard of American Safari Cruises saw them as the means to start a new company. With the complete overhaul of two ships formerly of Glacier Bay, InnerSea Discoverieswas born, a small-ship cruise line with a taste for adventure and exploration of wild places. The first time I saw the Wilderness Discoverer she sat high and dry in a shipyard in Seattle. Poin... Read More
My family Husband & I have Kaiser HSA Plans. We each have a separate plan under our business. The cost of the HSA plan with a deductible of over $3,000.00 each is $11,000.00 per year for this yea. This is not rocket science. It is... Read More
Sint Maarten/Saint Martin, two names for one rather small island. This now peaceful Caribbean island has a long and bloody history. Violence began long before the day Columbus first sighted the island in 1493 on November 11, the holy day of Saint Martin of Tours. He claimed the island for Spain, naming it Isla de San Martin. Throughout history, the island changed hands many times between Spain, France, Holland, Britain and... Read More
