Vaccines to now be made in China
Posted On 12/11/2011 13:40:50 by California_Resident
I implore anyone who need any type of vaccine to get it now because China has received permission to make vaccines.  We all know that China can not even make toothpaste with out trying to kill Americans.

I can tell you that I will no longer get any flu vaccines now that this has been approved.

Two Countries, One Island: Saint Martin/Sint Maarten
Posted On 03/06/2011 05:12:19 by GrapevineTravelAdventures
Sint Maarten/Saint Martin, two names for one rather small island.  This now peaceful Caribbean island has a long and bloody history. Violence began long before the day Columbus first sighted the island in 1493 on November 11, the holy day of Saint Martin of Tours.  He claimed the island for Spain, naming it Isla de San Martin.  Throughout history, the island changed hands many times between Spain, France, Holland, Britain and... Bogdan Ambrozewicz--Republican His website does not give me enough information to make any comment on him as a candidate. http://www.boambroz.com/
Michael F. O'Connor--Republican
I could not locate a website to give me any information to make any comment on him as a... Read More

North Korea attacks South Korea
Posted On 11/23/2010 07:46:55 by Prepper
I woke up today to find that North Korea is attacking South Korea.
We need to remove all of our solders from the DMZ and let them finish this war once and for all.
I do not understand why we the US has been in the middle of this war for 60 years.
We also need to STOP getting involved in the business of other Countries.

"Governor, don't lock the stable after the horse is stolen!"
Posted On 11/21/2010 20:35:56 by CrockPotPatty
Reading the Sacramento Bee this morning brought up the question surrounding wages and reimbursements of California State Administration Officials. In my previous blog, I described administrations of government as "Headless" in nature. I also described their behaviors as "Headless horse thieves riding on the backs of stolen property."

Administrations that do not have oversight, other than public scrutiny and non-profit agencies, are free to over price their services. The supply and de... Read More

City of Vernon the New City of Bell
Posted On 09/16/2010 00:26:03 by California_Resident
Well it looks like the City of Vernon is just like the City of Bell with there over inflated salaries for the City Council.
The City of Vernon is mostly an industrial area,  the City of Vernon has only approx population of 100 residents.  Yet as you can see the City Council earns a salary of $68.052.00

Royalette, she was America's lucky winner!
Posted On 09/05/2010 17:22:58 by E10magnum007
Royalette, she was America's lucky winner! In 1994; a man named Eddie, worked for the “good old American dream!” With his newly married wife, Eddie was ready for the world. He would work at a warehouse put in his good work and then return home to see his spouse. His wife showed Eddie, as they were watching TV, a ferret. Eddie, had no idea what the animal was at the time? Eddie, soon loved the exoticness of the animal, almost right away. One day Eddie and his wife went to Reno, NV. They w... Read More

GET A "JOB" BILL!
Posted On 09/03/2010 19:04:22 by CrockPotPatty
NO JOB BILLS IN CALIFORNIA 2010   I reviewed the list of Bills today. I found many bills being introduced under the guise of "Job Creation". None of the bills currently listed address the loss of jobs in California.   While I listened to the debate between Senator Boxer and Carly Fiorina, I thought it was interesting how easily the current Senator stated that she had been working on "Jobs" bills.   Setting ALL POLITICS aside, which we all should do when the unemployment rate for... $104 Million to become Governor ?
Posted On 08/15/2010 11:02:24 by California_Resident
I must question the mental health of Meg Whitman.  Meg Whitman has spent $104 million dollars of her own money to try and win the election for California Governor.
$104 million dollars makes me think that she has an over developed ego.
$104 million dollars makes me think back to the craigslist vs ebay lawsuit which was held in a Delaware court,  the comment was something to the effect of "Mean Meg".
Meg,  you should enjoy your money,  travel,... Read More

When People Could Live on Pennies - To Coin a Phrase
Posted On 08/08/2010 16:03:14 by CrockPotPatty
As of March 2008, it cost the U.S. Mint 1.7 cents to make a penny, 70% more than the value of the coin.

When people could live on pennies,
A woman could buy penny loafers,
A man could get his shoes shined,
And a child could eat to his hearts content.

When people could live on a dollar,
A woman could buy a little house with a garden,
A man could purchase an acre of land in Texas,
A child could pay for college.

When people could live o... Read More

Hey Bernanke, Ask the burning bush!

What does commercial paper have to do with the current economic downturn?

I don't know much about this stuff but, I do know when you reduce the number of non-financial loans by a really large amount in 2000 - 2003 of almost $400 billion or so,  and then again on 2007 by another $300 Billion in 3 months, that those huge amounts hurt!

I wonder if the companies who use this type of funding, use it for their payroll costs? You know, short-term non-financial financing is ch... Read More

There are at least 45 million people unemployed in the United States. While Wall Street and people who have no understanding of the incredible problem facing the United States, a voice in the wilderness needs to be heard.
