Nadya Suleman AKA Octomom is now collecting welfare.  You and I every American Taxpayer is helping to support her 14 children.  If you can not afford to purchase food for your 14 children you should put them up for adoption and make sure that you have no more children.  According to the LA Time article you are receiving $2,000.00 per month in Food Stamps.  Stop,  go to McDonald's and "GET A FUCKING JOB".

Yes, Cruise Ships Are Safe! by Capt. John L. Beath
Costa Cruise Line’s recent disaster has many wondering if cruise ships are safe. Blame for the terrible, and avoidable accident has been squarely blamed on Captain Francesco Schettino– a captain with the cruise line since 2006. This tragedy could have and should have been avoided by simply following company protocols. Schettino’s decision, for whatever reason, to deviate from pre-programmed routing put th... Read More

Resurrection of a Ship, Birth of a Company
Posted On 07/10/2011 23:51:17 by GrapevineTravelAdventures
One small ship cruise line goes under.  Most people would have seen their ships as fodder for the scrap yard.  Dan Blanchard of American Safari Cruises saw them as the means to start a new company.  With the complete overhaul of two ships formerly of Glacier Bay, InnerSea Discoverieswas born, a small-ship cruise line with a taste for adventure and exploration of wild places.   The first time I saw the Wilderness Discoverer she sat high and dry in a shipyard in Seattle. USPoliticians care more about foreigners the US Citizens
Posted On 06/07/2011 09:52:38 by An-American-Taxpayer
As an American Citizen born in the US I am trying to figure out why the US Politicians care more about Foreigners than US Citizens.
Case in point I am paying $11,000.00 per year for Medical Insurance from Keiser with a deductible of over $7,000.00 per year.  Yet Hillary Clinton seams more concerned with bringing another foreigner to the US instead of helping Americans or following the law and making sure that all Illegal Aliens are deported.
I think that Hillary Clinton is... Read More

Planning a Vacation to Australia
Posted On 05/29/2011 18:57:41 by GrapevineTravelAdventures
Before heading across the ocean for a vacation to Australia, many questions need answers.  Start with the flight.  What matters most, price, length of the journey, or stops along the way? Research flights to find the one best suited.  If price matters most, the cheapest flights often stop several times and take well over 20 hours from start to finish.  The most direct flights may take as little as 14 – 16 hours, but could cost quite a lot.
When plans include s... Read More

So today I was on line looking for a job.  I found some jobs at Safeway in Roseville & Rocklin.  Their was an online application to be completed.  As I had never applied to Safeway I had to create a new online account.
I was dismayed to find that I could not apply for any of their positions without first providing my Social Security Number.
So Safe will know not only my age,  but be able to run a credit check on me,  an employee who review the applic... Read More

Rally in Sacramento to Support Wisconsin Union Employees

My wife and I arrived at the state capital in Sacramento  at 1030 am and parked as close to where the peaceful demonstration in support of those unions in Wisconsin was to take place.  As people began arrive I noticed a small group of people across the street from where the demonstration began to form.  The small group grew in number to about 40 or so and never matched in numbers the thousands of those supporters who came to express their solidarity with their count...
