Eating fish elevated in omega-3 essential fatty acids have been associated with a reduced risk of stroke. New research suggests it's not simply how much fish you take in that matters, but exactly how it's prepared.

Looking for a Bargain?
Posted On 01/15/2011 11:43:33 by okcrick
Oklahoma City tops the list for Bargain Retirement.  The following is a quote from Zack O'Malley Greenburg, A Writer with Forbes. ” Oklahoma City ranks first on our list because of its low cost of living, stable home prices, low taxes and a very reasonable average home price of $78 per square foot. That's half the cost of square footage in Miami, one-tenth of what you'd pay in Boston and one-fifteenth the greater New York City area”. Th... Read More

Posted On 08/27/2009 09:27:59 by okcrick
The following is a little nugget for first time home buyers written by Dreams Do Come True.
If you think you have until Nov 31st to take advantage of the $8000 tax credit, you are wrong! Many buyers are procrastinators.  They see a sale ad for a local store and notice that the sale expires at 6:00 on Saturday.  So they rush in the door at 5:30.  They don't want to miss out, but put off going until the last minute. If you are one of those buyers and think that you have unti... Read More

MLS Searches
Posted On 12/11/2008 12:26:29 by okcrick
Living in Oklahoma City, I was happyto see the Google search phrase (mls search) bring up an OklahomaMLS.something on the top of the string.  If I was a home buyer, it might have manipulated me to an avenue of buying a home.  However, out of the first page of results, there wasn't any links that took me closer to an actual search of the Oklahoma City and Edmond area.  Some of the links had Oklahoma Metropolitan listings advertised, yet there were no actual live searches. &nbs... This blog is not about Oklahoma City or Edmond area homes and real estate.  It's about the companies that feed off of Realtors income.  I'm sure your services function very well and are effective for some of my associates in the cyber world, but please don't insinuate that I don't know what I'm doing when I want to cancel a search phrase or a product with you. I was recently sold a search phrase with a set up fee while driving to a closing.  The sales person had found my contact i... Read More

Dependable Realtors

No Show       A funny thing happened yesterday.  I met some clients at a house to help them make their determination.  As they were leaving they mentioned another property that they wanted to see, but the realtor they called, could not find his brokers listings address.  I called the broker and was told the property was vacant and could be shown immediately. The address was just a few blocks from my listing, and I was happy to accommodate them and pre... Read More

How much does a FREE Banana tree cost?
Posted On 09/26/2008 13:52:02 by Holt
How much does a free Banana tree cost...?     My Dad gave me a banana tree last year that he dug it out of his own yard.  If you have ever had a banana tree then you know they reproduce at an alarming rate.  I gladly accepted this free plant.  I have a huge yard and the owners before me did not care much for outdoor living...I however, am the opposite.    Recently when I was over at my Dad's house I noticed that his banana tree was about 12 feet tall (seriously...
