Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) announced the award of $127.5 million dollars in stimulus Money for the purchase and installation of smart electric meters.
I have no problem with the award to SMUD or updating the electric grid,  I do however have a problem with SMUD teaming up with Landis+Gyr of Switzerland for this project.

The US Government and the Highly Paid Law Makers are at it again.
Yes President Obama tried to do a good thing with the stimulus Program,  however there is money being wasted on stupid things Associate Professor Tammy Henderson of Oklahoma State University has received $1.1 million dollars to produce a study on Alaskan grandparents.  Please tell me how this will produce jobs.
