Ok maybe it isn't the Valdez....cause that was Chevron's spill in my Pacific Ocean.
This one is on the East Coast or the Mexican Border or pretty much anywhere in the ocean .......anyway it is BP's spill. Like that should make any difference. BP is doing a fine job with their current efforts to stop the leak. BP's a bit slow to react. I compare them to Bush in a Hurricane.
I have suggestions for cleaning up the oil that has leaked into the ocean. BP used dispersants but, I think there is a better way to contain the oil.
1. It begins with a net that will allow water in and out but will not allow oil to exit once it is trapped. The oil net will be held upright by a large wall floatation device that will prevent the waves from forcing the oil out. The net must be long enough to go below the surface of the ocean at least several miles. The net will be held down by weights that are suspended. The net will be brought about in a circle that is large enough to trap the oil for extraction. BP can pump the oil spill from the inner circle of the netting and extract the oil through a filtration device and pour the oceans water outside the net and back into the ocean free of oil and contaminants.
2. The additional leak from the pipe several feet away should be uncovered. A cover specially formed for around the oil pipe should be lowered. The cover will have a rubber seal through out the inside to allow a seal to form with the weight of the cover.
3. Another alternative would be to divert the existing pipe into a pipe that is not damaged and reroute the oil for pumping like they recently did.
Get it Done!!!! Don't wait for SUPERMAN!
