Rural living with city anonymity came across my mind as Nancy and I drove to complete a home listing near Piedmont Oklahoma in Kingfisher County. As we turned off of the Northwest Expressway north on Sarah Road, Oklahoma City quickly vanished and turned into country.







Across from this picture of a grassy pasture at 122nd and North Sarah Rd. is an Airpark named Sundance Airpark.

There were several planes setting around as well as taking off and landing. I did some research and discovered the facility has over 159 t-hangers as well as self or full service fuel isles.

Sundance also offers many other services such as leasing, flight training, and appraisals. 
The establishment has a large flight planning room as well as showers.

As they day went by, I kept thinking how nice it would be to have a home in the Piedmont area, if you were a pilot and wanted a close facility such as Sundance to keep your plane and maintain it. Living in a rural area doesn't have to be very far from big city anonymity.
