Americans polls clearly show that JOBS are number one on the minds of Americans.
Americans are less concerned about the deficit,
and more concerned about getting the American economy moving again.
The G20 has not produced the results desired.
It is time to think about HOW America does business.
One major concern of American companies is the inability to
compete with cheap foreign imports.
The American economy cannot afford inflation.
How should the government help American companies without increasing the deficit?
One suggestion by American business owners is to add an import tax or tariff. This would produce inflation for the consumers here in America unless
the tariff raised the cost of imports to equal the average cost of American production, and the revenue from the tariff was divided by paying a portion of the deficit and putting money into the pockets of American businesses.
Many Americans agree that subsidizing is not the best way to support American business. A tax reduction to American businesses could be offset by the import tariffs. This would level the playing field in favor of American business and drive the demand for American products.
Controlling supply and demand of foreign imports may be one of the
only ways that America can drive America and produce jobs internally.
It is time for American policy to produce an environment that grows the American economy.
