Oklahoma City tops the list for Bargain Retirement.  The following is a quote from Zack O'Malley Greenburg, A Writer with Forbes.

” Oklahoma City ranks first on our list because of its low cost of living,stable home prices, low taxes and a very reasonable average home price of $78 per square foot. That's half the cost of square footage in Miami, one-tenth of what you'd pay in Boston and one-fifteenth the greater New York City area”.

This is exciting news, but it's not the first time that Oklahoma has received good reviews from Forbes.  It wasn't long ago, Oklahoma City was rated one of the most recession proof cities in the U.S.  Being recession proof, could only make Oklahoma City even stronger now that the economy is starting improve.

With all the good publicity, low interest rates, affordable housing, and being centrally located in the United States, Oklahoma City will continue to grow and attract those wanting to retire in an affordable area with a lot to offer.
