Wells Fargo Home Mortgage is the most stupid bank and mortgage company in the United States with the most stupid executives.
Today is April 16, 2011 and my mortgage is due on Aril 1, 2011 and considered late if paid after April 16, 2011. Usually I am 3 months ahead on my mortgage payments. However I was out of town and had planned to go to the bank today and pay the mortgage payment.
Yesterday at 6:58pm Wells Fargo Home Mortgage decided to take it upon themselves to send me debt collection notices via text messages. My payment is not even considered late until today and the local bank branch was closed.
Considering I do not have text messaging on my phone, Wells Fargo has just increased the cost of my phone bill.
So next time you have a hard time with Wells Fargo, feel free to just send all of them an email.
