So today I was on line looking for a job.  I found some jobs at Safeway in Roseville & Rocklin.  Their was an online application to be completed.  As I had never applied to Safeway I had to create a new online account.

I was dismayed to find that I could not apply for any of their positions without first providing my Social Security Number.

So Safe will know not only my age,  but be able to run a credit check on me,  an employee who review the application will be able to perform Identity Theft all with out my knowledge.

Further they will be able to ascertain my birthdate and age.

So I have decided not to apply for the above reasons and also I could be discriminated based on my age with this information.
