My family Husband & I have Kaiser HSA Plans. We each have a separate plan under our business.
The cost of the HSA plan with a deductible of over $3,000.00 each is $11,000.00 per year for this yea.
So I called the Nurse Advise Line as I had a UTI, I get these often and requested a Rx for Cipro of Kflex.
It was before 12 noon, the Nurse stated NO and that they could have a doctor call me after 4:30pm. I explained to the nurse that I know my body if I do not receive the need antibiotics within 1 hour I will end up in the ER and the hospital for 5 days with a Kidney Infection. The Kaiser nurse had decided to argue with me when I stated I was going to the ER.
I ended up in the ER for 4 hour and with an IV being pumped full of antibiotics.
To add insult to injury, I paid what I was told was a 180.00 deductible then I receive a bill in the mail for $55.00 and a second bill for $240.00 on top of the $180.00 paid at the time of service.
I guess $11,000.00 per year pays for BAD SERVICE.
