Can't say I agreed with his politics, but can say I have learned that Ted Kennedy was a nice guy who wanted to help people. There was some speculation that he wanted his wife Vicki Reggie Kennedy to take his place because of some comments he made to the NY press. Vickie has announced she is not interested, probably because her family has been involved in more than one corruption scandal in Louisiana over the years. Vicki herself is known to have received 7 years of free tuition at Tulane University in New Orleans from several state legislators. Louisiana actually has a law that allows state legislators to each hand out a scholarship for paid tuition to Tulane. Press investigations showed that the scholarships were being given to the children of judges. Guess what? Vicki is the daughter of a former city judge in Crowley, LA., Edmund Reggie.
