The Federal Trade Commission will ban Robo Calls from
Telemarketers starting 09/01/09.
Telemarketers will face a fine of up to $16,000.00
However, calls from politicians, public service announcements
& informational call will be exempt.
This law was a good start however, it does not go far enough.
1. Politicians SHOULD NOT BE EXEMPTED.
2. You should give the right of the people receiving these calls
to take these offending Companies to Small Claims Court and
collect the fines.
